I did some research online thru the Public Library, and found a book that will help. I reserved it last week and picked it up the other day. I think it will give me plenty of information. It is called “Psychic Detective” by Jenny Randles and Peter Hough. It has a content page so I can look up the information and read about what they think. The next source I have is an article in the The New York Times it is titled “Using Advice of Psychic, Police Hunt for a Body.” I think this article will be some help but not as much as the book. The last of my sources is the magazine called Law Enforcement it has an article about Psychic Detectives, and list some of the most famous people who work with the police. I think this article will help because it has websites for those famous people for me to check out as well.

I have been checking for resources and information to help with my thesis statement. I am writing about "Should law enforcement use psychic's". This has been very time consuming, and hard to find at first but I kept searching and finally I found some articles, books, and there are television shows on the subject as well. I am not into writing and this is going to be real challenging for me. I hope I do well, and if anyone could give me some pointers I would greatly appreciate it!

I learned that persuasive writing you need to have a great introduction to start your paper off, and by starting with a great thesis is also very essential in order to have a great paper. When writing your persuasive paper you need to figure out how you want to argue or convince the reader about the topic your discussing. So I need to be careful with my wording on my topic so that I can have arguements to dispute . I also need to make sure that I give plenty of examples to back my argument.

On my essay revision I had my husband and my daughter both read it to make sure that it sounded good, and to see if it had any errors or any other problems that they may come across with my essay. My daughter helped me bunch since she is in high school and works on writing a great deal, and so she was great help to point out my mistakes. Furthermore, I listened to my peers that read my essay to help revise my essay.

I will try to change a bit of the writing so that it will not have my opinion based on the subject that I am writing about. I will change part of my conclusion, and I will re read to find any grammar errors and sentences that do no flow really well. I will also work on the second paragraph to make it shorter. I will add some more materials to make sure that I have enough wording to meet the quota, and work on my works citied page.
