What did I learn this semester? I learned loads of new information this semester; I learned to write in MLA format, how to use citation, and learned the TTEAMIC format as well. I learned how to blog because I never have attempted this before, and I was terrified that I would not be able to accomplish this task. Plus, I learned how to do a web folio, if I had not taken this class I would never have known how too! I obtained oodles of information on the paranormal that I didn’t even know existed until this semester.
What did struggle with this semester? I struggled mostly when we had to write a certain amount of pages or words because I would get frustrated, and did not know what to write anymore, I would have writers block, and I learned by taking breaks in between writing to help me over come my writing block. Another thing I struggled with was the citing, it took me some time to catch on how to do it correctly.
What was easy this semester? I guess that would be gathering information to write my topic because there were many sites that may possibly be used on each topic except it was really time consuming on each of the topics researched. Looking for the right piece of information is really crucial in writing your essay.
What would I do differently if I could do it all over again? I presume the topic’s I had chosen because one of them I had a hard time finding information. I became really annoyed at times and discouraged as well.
What did I like? I liked the topic that was chosen for this class because it was not boring or dull. It was something I would enjoy and looked forward in discovering information on this semester. I learned a great deal on the paranormal subject this semester because I had no clue that some of these things could exist. I still have doubts!
What did I dislike? First I hate to write, it is not my forte or my strong subject. I have always struggled and felt insecure until this semester. I feel like I have grown, and became a better writer than I did in high school because we now have spell check, and the thesaurus at are finger tips, since we did not really have that back in those days. LOL!
What was fun this semester? Learning all the paranormal events by reading others topic that my classmates were working on, learning how to blog, and the web folio. I had fun learning how to do these things because; my children think they know more than I do when it comes to the computers, but I now have more knowledge and abilities than they do. I have shown my children what I have accomplished on blogging, and the web folio. I’m really quite happy with myself by having learned how to do these things on my own.
